Equal Rights for All Military Pagans

This petition has been started to bring notice of the pagan faith to our elected officials. When Signatures reach 100,000 , 250,000 , 500,000 , 1 million and every 250,000 thereafter it will be send to EVERY Politacal office we can find with the United States. We ask that paganism be recognized as a faith with the United States military, that pagan veterans may have the pentacle or any other chosen symbol of their faith, and that clergy of the pagan faith be made available to them. Below are some facts about paganisim.





-In 2006, Covenant of the Goddess conducted a poll and reported:


46\% have college degrees and 31\% reported "some college" education


94\% were registered to vote.


74\% were female and 25\% are male


6\% had military service records





-Paganisim has many different branches, much like christianity. Below is the results of a 2004 poll.

The above listed religions can all be considered part of the mass of faiths labeled paganisim, bringing a total population is the U.S. according to this 2004 poll to be 4,658,679.





It's time for the politicians to see we are here, and WE VOTE! Our numbers will only grow, and those pagans in the military should be given the same rights, in life and death, that all other members of the military have.





Either, give us the right to have symbols of our faith on our tombstones, and to speak to clergy of our own faith, or remove all association with faith from the military. NO-ONE has ANY religious symbol on their tombstone, and NO clergy are made avaiable by the U.S. military. By only allowing certin faiths to display symbols of that faith on their tombstones, and only allowing certin faiths to have their own clergy, preferential treatment is exactly what is happening. No-one should get preferential treatment, especially based on faith.
