Erect a Statue for Dr APJ Abdul Kalam

We the people from India and all over the world feel very passionate about the leaders in our era who have helped shape our country more stronger and the environment as we've grown up from young kids to young adults to law abiding citizens. As we journey through our day-to-day lives it's refreshing to be reminded of uplifting and inspiring role models, especially the ones who were born and nurtured from our own country who has served the nation in our period.

Late Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, The Scientist, Statesman and the Peoples President rose from humble beginnings to become one of India's most accomplished leader earning high esteem within India and allover the world where he was connected with and he is undoubtedly inspired an entire generation in his period. A man who has put his heart and soul into what he believes in and consistently shows passion and perseverance. His humility and dedication to public services served as an inspiration to millions of indians and admirers around the world. He was true scientist who was known as the father of the country’s military missile programme. In the 1980s, he helped design the nuclear-capable Prithvi and Agni ballistic missiles. India enters the space club by putting the Rohini satellite in the near earth orbit with the first indigenous Satellite Launch Vehicle (SLV-III), developed under the stewardship of Dr. Kalam. Later As the chief of the Integrated Guided Missile Development Programme, he was responsible for the development and operationalisation of AGNI and PRITHVI Missiles. In 1998 India conducts the Pokhran II nuclear tests in May with Dr. Kalam as the chief project coordinator.

As a tribute to the loss of our beloved and eminent scientist” who “was an irreplaceable role model for the young and passionate of India we request the Government of India to erect an Statue to mark the services he has offered to the country. Making this happen won't be strenuous  - it will be a greatest tribute from the whole nation and an educational and motivational experience for all, for the whole indian community and from the people from all over the world.
