Federal Investigation into the cost of hosting the (G8/G20 meeting) $1.1 Billion!!!!!!!

The federal governement thought it was necessary/wise to spend $1.1 B to host the G8/G20 meetings in Toronto ($933 million on security - see cbc report below )

If you dont see how ludicrous, frivelous and unresponsible this is, lets see thow much it cost other countries to host these events (I would like to mention that some of the other countries have signifcantly larger security risks and concerns based on historic events):

This is a clear and utter waste of tax payers dollars. Our taxes should not be spent so irresponsibly. Public office is a privelage not a right - you must act in the best interest of canadians which is clearly not the case here.
