Final Fantasy IX Remake

This petition is here as an idea to remake Final Fantasy IX

Square Enix has the ability and to create a remake of Final Fantasy 9 with all of their amazing next gen. technology. If you'd like this to happen, I ask that you please sign my petition. Even if you aren't immediately interested please take some time to read why this could happen, and how it may even be a successful and profitable idea for Square Enix.

I've started this petition because I want Square Enix to know that many Final Fantasy IX fans would love to see a remake. I am not doing this with the intent of forcing this to happen, but rather, to show Square Enix that it would be a great idea. The original Final Fantasy IX was an amazing game. However, I think that it could reach an even higher level of gameplay. In just about all of their areas, Square Enix has improved a great amount since the Squaresoft release of Final Fantasy IX. Being that Final Fantasy IX is widely considered a great game made in the Final Fantasy series, a remake should definitely be considered. That said, I still would like to give this petition a slight push in the right direction.

I believe that this petition is more than just one person wanting a remake. It's about an enormous amount of fans wanting this to come to light. If Square were to remake Final Fantasy IX, it would likely be more successful than the original. Of course, this is only a idea and an idea without evidence is worthless. So let's get to the point now, shall we? This petition is here to prove that a Final Fantasy IX remake will succeed in the US. I'm hoping that's all Square Enix needs as incentive. (Money included) Let's hope for the best.

With the main point out of the way, please take a little more time to read the following. I ask that don't take this petition too seriously. It is very possible the Square would be willing to remake FFIX, and if you want it to be remade into a more glorious game then by all means, go right ahead and sign this petition. But there is also the possibility that Square would not be willing to remake it for whatever reason it may be. Remember, it does cost millions of dollars to fund a game design project, especially in Square's case. Such a project cannot be taken on without a grand amount of support.

Also, some of you would think that this petition is a little pointless, and I understand why that would be. So please just accept it for what it is. If you don't like Final Fantasy games, Final Fantasy IX itself, even if you don't like the petition for whatever reason, remember that it's not an obligation to sign the petition. I want to thank you for taking some of your time to read my statement and I want to thank and respect you for whatever your point of view over this may be. I only ask that you do the same for me.
