FOR THE SAKE OF OUR GRANDCHILDREN, INC. is obtaining signatures to influence and hopefully change state laws pertaining to Grandparent Visitation Rights with their grandchildren. Most states, especially Florida, have extremely cruel laws relating to Grandparent's Visitation Rights and will allow parents to totally and completely seperate grandchildren from their grandparents. To improve our society, promote social welfare and to further the common good and general welfare of the grandchildren of all communities by bringing about civic betterment and social improvements concerning grandchildren's rights, is the purpose of this petition. The seperation of two generations, especially when done as a manipulative tool, should not be allowed by state laws. The legal system should be required to investigate both sides and both families to determine what is truly in the best interest of the child, not just automatically lean in favor of the parents.

We have two grandchildren one of which we have never seen. I last saw my granddaugter when she was 3 months old. She is now 5 years old. My greatest fear is that someday I just won't care anymore.
