Halo Movie rights

We the undersigned, are horrified about the possibility of director Uwe Boll gaining the rights to the videogame Halo. Which as far as we are concerned is a step too far. We the undersigned, believe Mr Uwe Boll is barely credible as a director and should play no part in the conception, script writing and production of The Halo movie. Fans of various videogame series around the world are already heartily disgusted with his attempts to bring their beloved videogames to the big screen.

Not only should fans of the games he has tried but failed miserably failed to convert to the silver screen be angered but the developers and publishers of all games that Mr Uwe Boll endeavours to gain the rights to should also be.

If the decision is taken to sell the rights to Mr Boll it would be a financial disaster for all parties for evidence of this look to Mr Bolls version of Alone in the dark which only generated $2.5 million.
This is because fans of the games have no wish to see their favourite game series butchered by this man. This makes it a certainty you will lose out financially, as well as losing your reputation for impeccable quality.

Hence we the undersigned, do humbly beg you to stop this madness and stop all thought of allowing Mr Boll to direct the film version of Halo, but instead allow a director and producer of talent to take the reins of the Halo movie as we are most definitely not opposed to the thought of Halo becoming a film as well as a game, Far, far from it. We are just opposed to the thought of Uwe Boll being anywhere near it! Even if he stands outside the studio doors while Halo is filmed is too close.

However to think of it Ridley Scott could be a good one. But I am sure the undersigned will give plenty of indication of who they would prefer.
