Damien Malique Logan is a victim of child cruelty by his legal father when he was 7 weeks old. His injuries were a broken leg, fractured ribs, and a bite mark. The father was charged with cruelty to children two counts for the violence towards his son. He received 15 years probation for the vicious abuse towards his child. Now, Damien's mother is going to court to try and regain custody of the baby she lost because of this crime. The mother has multiple police reports and documents of abused towards her as well and hoping to terminate the legal father's rights. Some containing threats of murder and bodily harm while she was pregnant. Children are abused everyday by their step parents and biological parents. Still, those parents have the right to see their step children or birth children but this man is not the biological father of Damien and he was viciously abusive to an innocent infant. Together, we can stop child abuse and stop the abusers from returning. Damien's mother is hoping to successfully terminate the legal father's parental rights to Damien (once custody is rewarded back to the mother) so that she can live her life without the man that caused her to miss out on the most important months of her son's life.
