The new idea of mandatory ID badges has raised complaints from students across the Red Lion Area School District. There is much dislike of this idea across the community.
Many students feel this will clash their style, with the badge being required at waist high or above. Also many students feel that this requirement will lead them into unnecessary detentions, due to forgetting and misplace of their badge.
Plus also consider the amounts of students that will be placed in detention for not wearing the badge on reason of: forgetting the badge, misplacement, and rebellion. That will lead to the school district spending unnecessary money to pay teachers to supervise detentions.
Please consider a more efficient way to identify students.
