In Favor of an Extension to the Return of the Explorers Event

I would like to thank the team for all the work they have endured. However, I must say this situation should be addressed and I would be very pleased if you could hear us out on this.

We, countless players and loyal consumers, believe that it is appropriate to extend the Return of the Explorers Ring event due to the technical difficulties we have all been patiently bearing with. To begin, it is quite unfair that the last day to work on the event was taken away due to an unscheduled server maintenance. That reason alone should justify extending the event because players have dedicated time and resources in order to get their rings only to lose that opportunity due to a situation that under your system's control. We understand that you had to do the server maintenance, but we believe it is only fair that we get time extensions for the time we lost for this one chance event. Even with online assignment submissions, if the system is down (therefore not allowing students to work on assignments or hand them in), appropriate extensions are given to accommodate. This ideology applies here.

In addition, many players achieved requirements to attain their ring prior to the deadline, but this technical difficulty resulted in their characters being "rolled back". It is great that you are compensating us with 2x EXP events to recover lost training time. However, many players leveled up for the ring event and now that opportunity is taken away from us since this event has expired. The remedy to this problem is simple. All we're asking is an appropriate extension to compensate for the opportunity of getting the ring which we lost. An extension can only benefit the company by raising consumer morale and faith in the company. Nothing negative should come from an appropriate extension of the event.
