Is it a good idea for Eddie Franklin to buy a VGA cooler?

I do not think that it is a good idea for Eddie Franklin to buy a VGA cooler. The point of this would be to -overclock- his videocard, therefore shortening the lifespan of the card. The outcome of overclocking his card would be more or less null. No change. The only reason I can think of that someone would want to overclock their video card is to have the ability to say "I Overclocked my video card". Sure, one could argue that you are going to get somewhat of a performance enhancement. This is true, but it is not going to be noticable.
