Justice for Taylor Lewis and Caleb Krile
On October 7th 2004 my son Taylor Allen Lewis and his best friend Caleb Lee Krile were
struck down while bike riding home from a game store. They were both 14. The man who struck
them admitted he saw them and said his brakes did not work. After he hit the boys, he continued
uphill going an additional 340 feet, which is close to the length of a football field. He went across the
northbound two lanes, over a curb, through a church parking lot and the vehicle came to rest after striking
a retainer wall at the church. A second car came down the same path and also ran over our boys. Neither
driver was checked for alcohol or drugs or charged with anything at all. Not one ticket for anything.
Please sign this petition for our precious boys who will never come home. They deserve justice.
The man who hit them has a long history of traffic violations, speeding, failure to maintain control, and the
list goes on and on.
