We, the undersigned, have received word from one of our State Executive Committee Members of New York that there are plans to divide chapters again at our State Convention (August 4th-6th at Utica College Utica, NY). This format worked for Athletics Weekend, but we draw the line at Convention.
We believe that Convention is all about chapter to chapter competition. We are well aware that we must watch out for the smaller chapters, but the bigger chapters are the way they are for a reason.
We am writing this letter protesting this action and demanding this decision be changed and go back to the old rules. After all as the old cliche goes "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"
we hope the State Executive Committee will consider this letter and the signatures below.
