Figures indicate there are 23.7 million Military Veterans in the United States. These men and women served their country with honor and protected our freedoms. There are over 10 million Veterans, including many who were wounded, who do not enjoy any Commissary and Exchange privileges. We the undersigned, urge Congress to approve and authorize "Veterans Day" shopping the first Monday of each month in all Military Exchanges and Commissaries for all Veterans not currently eligible to shop in the Exchanges and Commissaries.

Signing this petition is just one more way to show all Veterans we appreciate the sacrifices they have made. Let's celebrate Veterans Day not only once a year, but every first Monday in the Exchanges and Commissaries by extending shopping privileges to these 10 million Vets who aren't allowed to shop there now.
