Lift the Restriction on Interactive Fanfics

We, the authors of fanfiction.net, respectfully ask that Xing Li and the admins of fanfiction.net lift the rule restricting interactive (or Choose-your-own-adventure) fanfics on their domain. We look at this rule as a distasteful attempt to cut off authors from their true ability to Unleash Their Imagination, as the slogan says, and kindly ask to lift this rule; and if you cant, at least make some changes to it. The undersign of this petition do not wish to start a fight, no, but instead find alternate ways to enforce the rule while also letting authors contribute their own writing abilities to the site their way.
I, myself, the author of this petition, have written my fair share of interactive and CYOA fanfics, which I was forced to delete to avoid the risk of having my account banned from the site. But I do not wish to see this happen to other authors who wish to write stories their way.
This is why we are asking fanfiction.net admins to lift the rule banning interactive and CYOA fanfics. Thank you for taking your time to read over this petition.
