Lost Souls: You Can Make a Difference

Oh how the industrious world of entertainment has spawned an army of walking, talking, ugly young (and old) men (and women) whose sole purpose in life revolves around films involving super powers and light sabers. How sad it is to see these bright souls waste their lives when their intelligence could better benefit in a profession that utilizes such academic proficiency. But no. These weirdos would rather spend their time sitting on the computer, analyzing characters that do not exist and worlds that could never be. You say its fun. You say its interesting. Fair enough. But there is such a thing as taking these obsessions one step too far. Who am I, you ask? What do I know? What makes me better than you? I dont claim to be better than anyone. I see what I see and I speak my mind. Its what we as humans are capable of. Its what sets us apart from the rest of the species that inhabit this beautiful Earth. Im a simple man. I am young. I have simple interests. I enjoy reading up on sports, movies, cars, certain professions that reflect my interests. I am interested in life. I enjoy furthering my knowledge just as much as the next. But when I make some time to read up on, perhaps a certain movie that I am interested in- nothing is more annoying than those very people who take this lifestyle one step too far

Usually, I keep such ventful issues to myself but I feel that the world truly needs to hear these words and realize how this invention - internet - has destroyed us as human beings. This petition is based upon the entertainment industry (movies in particular) and how whatever reputation a person has is quickly diminished by the following examples

A) The Internet Movie Database: A fantastic website for anyone who enjoys reading up on their favorite movies, t.v shows, and celebrities. While frequenting a particular movies message board I felt the urge to post a topic and essentially voice my opinion on this popular franchise film (Star Wars). Now my opinion was slightly negative but fair in its context. Upon returning to this topic to read up on what others thought of my critique. I was left confused and empty inside. This horrible, horrible, person felt the need to call me a Troll. Now, perhaps Im a little illiterate with this internet lingo but is a troll not a short, ugly, hideous looking creature that Don King himself could not even love? I was absolutely appalled. I simply couldnt understand it. Later, I found out this word troll was indeed a hip new internet word that message board regulars use to describe someone who disagrees with their love-obsession for a particular film. What the fuck? I thought to myself. These people are truly lost in their own limitations.

B) The Internet Movie Database (I hate to keep using this website- but unfortunately it is the main clubhouse for these piss ants): Again, I was reading up on a movie that will remain anonymous - and saw a topic entitled Lets Pretend We Are In Wizard School! Say that again? YesLets Pretend We Are In Wizard School! Yeah. You read it right. I gazed at the text for a few moments - my finger hesitatingly shaking over the mouse as I contemplated clicking on this topic. Lets just say after reading the first page of this shit I actually banned myself from reading anything on that fuckin message board again. My hate and pitty grew and grewand eventually led to this - final - over the edge inducing - fruitcake

Ok, all done? Yesyou heard correctly. This being of a boy is actually complaining about Katie Holmes being in the next Batman Begins movie. Just take a few moments to realize what this fucker is petitioning. Its bad enough hes filming himself - talking about Batman - but he is actually complaining about a hot woman like Katie Holmes appearing in Batman! Maybe hes gay. Of course that is a factor that needs to be taken into consideration. But I feel his problem is beyond a simple sexual preference. He is severely lost. This is taking an obsession too far. It absolutely boggles the mind and you really feel something for these types of people. I felt like calling this poor soul on the telephone and talking to him and really listening to him. He is in dire need of help from a friend. I want to talk to him and tell him about this wonderful world outside of the computer and t.v screen. Maybe he is attracted to men - but damnit - I can TRY to introduce him to girls in hopes that he will change! He needs a positive role modeland someone that is a real person.

Now this is where you come in - my petition is this

On every message board available on the internet - there MUST be a permanent link available that educates these people on topics such as; Female anatomy, female psychology, various information on how to approach a woman and actually speak to her, communicating with the outside world, etc etc. Things that would best benefit these people to a healthy way of living.

My second part of this petition is a little harder on the individuals.

For every web cam, digital camera, or any type of device used to communicate via the internet - there MUST be certain limitations and policies. Perhaps the individual should fill out a simple application describing related information to their interest in purchasing these devices. It is in my opinion that not just any person should be qualified to film themselves and post it on the internet. They should be interviewed, they should fill out a resume, and follow STRICT guidelines. If they should violate these terms they should be beaten with a pencil.

Help me help these disadvantage individuals - and show them that they do not need to attend Wizard School in order to belong somewhere.
