We the citizens of the United States of America petition our elected officials for one simple reason.
LOWER GAS/FUEL PRICES NOW. We demand gas prices be lowered today.
Signing this petition means you too demand our elected officials to lower gas/fuel prices NOW.
The reason for this petition:
Simple! The cost of gas is affecting every citizen in this country. From the hard working parent who sits on the side of the road after a hard days work, out of gas, because he or she simply has no money left in their wallet to buy more gas, to the single worker who can not pay rent this month and buy gas, who maybe sleeping in that out of gas car on the street soon, or the family who may not eat tonight because to keep their job they need all their money for gas to get to the job and literally can not buy food and gas. Don't forget the poor truck driver who delivers the food who is either filing bankruptcy or hiking prices to match fuel costs that trickle down to us in the form of milk costing $5.00-$10.00 a gallon. It is this simple. We are broke or breaking. We have to make hard decisions like do we eat dinner tonight or buy a tank of gas.
