In 1985, The Goonies captured the hearts of many kids, teenagers, and even adults who were still children that were adventurous at heart. After seeing the movie, you began seeing kids making their own Goonie gang and playing out scenes from the movie. Parents today have even passed on the fun and humorous adventure to their own kids, who in turn have taken it to their hearts as well. Its not very often that a movie is made that is loved just as much today as it was the time of the release.
For a few years now, Goonie fans have heard talk about a Goonies sequel being made, but every time we think its finally going to happen, we hear that Warner Brothers still isnt going with the idea. Now, weve heard its up to the fans to help make Goonies 2 a reality and here we are!
Making a Goonies sequel could be one of the greatest things Warner Brothers could do because The Goonies has such a large fan base and weve been waiting for a long time anyway to see a sequel of our favorite movie of all time. The fans are even more excited to hear that if there is a sequel, all of the original cast will be returning! Were so glad that the real Goonies want this done just as much as we do!
So, please, in favor of all of us Goonie fans and the original Goonies, we ask that you please give this project the green light and make The Goonies 2 that all of us have been waiting for! Remember The Goonies Never Say Die!!!
