This petition is in reference to the obvious lack of promotion for Janet Jackson's New CD, Damita Jo, and video, I Want You. It seems as though following the Superbowl incident, MTV has not mentioned, come to defense, or simply let go of the media scrutiny. Jackson's new album exemplifies growth, and should not be taken for granted because of an incident that occurred a month ago. The immaturity that MTV has shown should be put aside for someone whom they proclaimed and "ICON." Let's not forget what Ms. Jackson has done for the music industry, modern artists, and dancers worldwide.
