More justice to the students suffering from hay fever

Due to unclear reasons, allergies are getting more common everyday in the western world. Hay fever (allergic rhinitis) is a very frequent allergic condition, afecting thousands of people worldwide. Recent scientifical studies have found a correlation between this illness and a detrimental effect on examination performance (Samantha Walker et al,J Allergy Clin Immunol
2007;120:381-7). The fact that the summer examinations are held during the peak grass pollen season, puts at a disadvantage the students suffering from hay fever, comparing to normal students. So, we propose a special examination calendar for college and high school students who have allergic rinithis, after the decline of the polen levels in the air.
