NBC to renew iTunes contract

It is with great disappointment that NBC has chosen not to renew their iTunes contract with Apple Inc. Over the past couple of years, NBC has lead the way with quality television entertainment that has been made available through the iTunes media store.
At a reasonable price of $1.99, customers had the ability to download high quality television episodes for consumer viewing and to further the fan-base of great hit T.V. shows that NBC offers.
With the announcement that NBC will not offer their fall season line up of hit TV shows on iTunes like 'The Office', 'Heroes' and '30 Rock', this will force loyal customers to seek alternative avenues in which to enjoy their TV viewing, albeit, this could lead to less desirable options such as bit-torrent and peer-to-peer.
We the undersigned strongly encourage NBC to open up a further line of contract negotiations with Apple Inc. in the hope that customers will be able to enjoy quality entertainment that NBC can offer at a reasonable price.

This is sad that you were able to work out a deal. I had 1 NBC show with a season pass with itunes and that lead me to buy 2 more season passes of NBC shows. It is a very sad day for NBC
