Joyce Thacker's department in Rotherham Council removed three children from loving foster carers simply because of the couple belonged to a perfectly legal political party (UKIP).
Despite universal condemnation, the Council's Leader, Roger Stone, has hidden behind 'investigation' and 'legal issues' rather than take decisive action that sees the children reunited and placed back with the carers and a full public apology issued. Clearly he and Rotherham Council are in no rush to help the children who must be bewildered by suddenly being split up and placed with other foster carers.
If you have no confidence that Rotherham Council have any intention of repairing the damage or disciplining those involved, please sign this petition of 'No Confidence'. If the Council feel their own positions are under threat then maybe children in Rotherham will get proper non-politicised care.
