No Facebook For A Day

Dear Facebook members,

We, the undersigned, are hereby to held an event called No Facebook for a Day to support the people who have been in distraught after the recent cases that has been occurring lately through the social networking site. Such cases include:

These are just a few of the cases we have found throughout the media that could be classified as something serious and very worrying, and it has been brought to our attention that we may need to raise our own awareness and limits that we need to put into while using a social networking site such as Facebook. So what are our main objective, you ask given both the pros and cons? We are here to try and limit your activity on Facebook by just one day. One day. Both to support families and people who may have fallen victim of the social networking site, and also to support you, the users, to raise your awareness of cautiousness in using Facebook as we give you time as long as 24 hours to think back on your past actions; have you been careless and befriended strangers? Of course you dont want that! And with this, we hope that all of you could participate in this event (which will take place at 1st of March) by signing on to this petition.
