Operation SHUIS needs your help!
Are you a fan of Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald, and his talent and handsome portrayer Galen Gering? Were you heartbroken when you learned that Galen would be not be onscreen again until 2006? So are we and were not going to take this lying down. A group of cyber SHUIS fans have joined together to organize a postcard and letter writing campaign to make our voices heard loudly and clearly by TPTB (The Powers That Be). The purpose of our campaign is clearly stated in our slogan: No SHUIS Without Luis. Hurry Home Galen. Our reason for watching Passions is to see SHUIS, and without Luis, we do not have a reason to watch. We want Galen Gering to hurry home to Passions as quickly as possible, and to see Luis return to Harmony with Marty.
This campaign involves sending postcards to Lisa deCazotte (Passions Executive Producer), Sheraton Kalouria (NBCs Senior VP of Daytime Programming), James Reilly (Passions Creator and Head Writer), Soap Opera Weekly, Soap Opera Digest, and Galen Gering. The theme is simple: No SHUIS Without Luis. Hurry Home Galen. Weve created several postcard templates that can be easily downloaded and printed out on postcard paper stock. Or, if you want to create your own cards, simply include the campaign theme, and our symbols (a frowning face and a purple ribbon), so that the recipient knows that you are part of the campaign.
All of the necessary information will be posted on our yahoo web group: http://movies.groups.yahoo.com/group/Hurry_Home_Galen/. By joining this group, you will remain informed on the latest updates regarding the campaign, as well as have access to the postcard templates and addresses.
This petition is another means to present a united front, and will be printed and mailed the recipients of this campaign. If you are a fan of Galen or SHUIS, we hope that you will contribute your time. Send postcards, sign the petition, spread the word about our campaign, and encourage others to participate.
Remember, every voice counts.
