Non-Sexist Dress Code At Athletic Practices

At Grayslake North Community Highschool, the boys are allowed to take off their shirts in the brutal heat. The girls on the otherhand, need to keep theirs on. They are allowed only to wear a tank top, T-shirt, or Longsleeve shirt. I believe the girls should be allowed to play with only sports bras on. By allowing the boys to remove their shirts, and not allowing the girls is, in my opinion, sexist. At practice,in the 90 degree weather, the girls on the team were told to put their shirts back on while the boys all had theirs off. Sign this petition if you agree that the female athletes should be allowed to play in sports bras.
