Pasadena Raymond Theatre Easement

We believe that Pasadena Heritage has substantially failed to enforce the conservation easement it holds on the historic Raymond Theatre property at 129 N. Raymond Ave., Pasadena. This failure demonstrates that Pasadena Heritage is in violation of California Civil Code section 815.3 which mandates that a tax-exempt nonprofit organization which holds conservation easements: has as its primary purpose the preservation, protection, or enhancement of land in its natural, scenic, historical, agricultural, forested, or open-space condition or use.

We therefore request that you formally disqualify Pasadena Heritage from holding conservation easements, and disallow any waivers it may have issued relating to the Raymond easement.
