Dear Management, We feel like we have to inform you about the feelings that live among many fans concerning the fanclub. We are sad to write this letter, but we all think if we don't react more and more members of TSF will quit. The reasons for our concerns are: - The lack of information about the band on the TSF website - The structural late editions of the fanzine. The issue of November is yet to come ... - The lack of good communication between the board and the fans - Wrong information is given about the delayed fanzine (see attachment) - Wrong information was given when 2 crew members were fired. According to the board, they went away voluntarily, while everyone knew that they never voluntarily give up. - Removal of posts on the forum without reason - Excluding a forum user, because he asked the management to be honest. Naturally, this exclusion is not communicated to the user. - A poorly organized FCD. Not once, but it seems like it just will not work. - The fan club is not the promised access to the band. TSF is designed to give the band and the fans the opportunity to meet each other. Fan club members would get special things and news for the news came out officially. They should be able to meet the band during fan events and buy tickets before the actual sale begins. - We pay money to TSF, but on other free websites as http://www.donttearmedown.info/ we get more info than on the TSF website. - Finally there is a breach of trust with the board, which leads, that the forum and the fanclub are virtually dead. All this makes it for us, the fans painfull. The past FCD, we have seen people in tears that came from all over the world, who could not meet to the band or give them their presents they brought and stayed empty handed with no signature of the band members. Many of us ran shivers down the spine. In this way the fans are chased away. There are already many who have lost confidence and canceled their membership. Without action on your part numbers of fans that will do so only increase. Within Temptation deserves a fan club where we all can be proud of and a proactive one, rather than re-active. For this you need people, who are fans and willing to do everything for the band to promote and help. Our impression is that this is not the case.
