By affixing our signatures, we, the undersigned, request that Fox Broadcasting Company positively reconsider their premature cancellation of the drama Vanished.
Vanished was extremely well written with a versatile, talented ensemble cast. The main story line was cleverly developed while, at the same time, weaving many thought provoking sub-plots.
We enjoyed the concept of a continually developing storyline and cannot believe that you would cancel a show of this type with no notice. In the future, it will be most difficult to commit to becoming a loyal viewer after experiencing the loss of Vanished.
We do not believe that Fox gave Vanished the publicity and support it so rightly deserved. With the networks dedication, we believe you have another 24 in the making.
Please reconsider and bring back Vanished with the proper executive/studio support.
We, in turn, promise to continue to support the program and will spread the word to others. Running a well-publicized Vanished marathon would also be of benefit to attract new viewers.
