Please help me free this man!!!!

My Father Jimmy Sluder admits hes guilty, but not for what hes serving time for. In 1987 Sluder was indicated and tried for vehicular homicide but wound up being sentenced for second degree murder. That happened because a new law was coming into effect during the trial and the judge wrongfully instructed the jury to use the new laws guidelines rather than the one in effect when the crime was commited. Sluder was drinking and driving when he swerved to advoid a head on collision 16 years ago. He admits after he swerved his car jumped the curb and crashed through the corner of a house at the intersection of the accident. He admits that two boys on the other side of the house not visible,were in the wrong place and one of them died when his car came through the corner. Randy Nichols was the judge in the case. Nichols then sentenced Sluder to 50 years in prison. Sluder, now 38, has served 16 years of his 50. he says" im guilty of drinking and driving and I had a accident that killed a boy and i live with that every day". Was Jimmy Sluder guilty of murder?
