Pokemon Event in Canada

Hi, my name is Michael, and I live in Canada. I am also an avid player of the Pokemon games. As many people have noticed, trading the "event" Pokemon is a popular activity. Events are Pokemon that originate from the occasions when Nintendo holds special promotions. At these promotions there is much excitement generated from the activities. Nintendo has demo kiosks for upcoming games to stir up interest. During the previous years, a special traveling Pokemon store has sold exclusive merchandise. Special Pokemon, such as the elusive Mew are also distributed to stir up interest in these events. Similar setups have been held in the USA, England, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, UK, Netherlands, Japan, Taiwan, Australia and other countries! As a collector of the "event" Pokemon, it distresses me that there has never been an event in Canada. Certain that I am not alone, I have created this petition. If you would attend an event that were to be held in Canada please sign this petition. Also include where you are from and a place you feel would be good for having an event (ie shopping malls, convention centers, Toys R Us). Thanks to everyone for signing this petition, I hope to see a Canadian Pokemon event in the future.
