My family has three people in the cemetery of Jacksonville, OR.
There is my Grandpa, my Uncle and my babay sister who passed in birth about 10 years ago. There is one man who is a volunteer at the cemetery. I do not remember his name, but this man has gone behind our backs. He has gone to the City Council of Jacksonville; we will no longer be able to have many of the items that are at the grave site of the ones we've lost. This goes for all of you who have loved ones in Jacksonville cemetery. We do not have a headstone yet, but we do have many things that we have put at the grave to show that we loved these people. I do not know all of the things on the list that have to go, but there is a lot. The man says it is a danger to him "volunteering" (cleaning). That it is keeping him from weed whacking and making the cemetery look better. Well there are no weeds to whack and the cemetery always looks the same. This is unfair to all of us. Today some one had taken things off of the grave site. Things that have great meaning to my family and are priceless. Please sign this petition for me. No, not just me, for every family out there... for the ones we've lost. Thank you for your support. This means so much to me.
