On the night of October 14th he took the life of Paul Rudeen. He was travelling at over 100MPH while drunk and hit and killed Paul. After that he tried to flee the scene. It is only because of numerous good samaritans that detained Harland til the police got there that he was unable to get away. At the time of the accident Harland had a suspended license until the year 2009 yet he chose to ignore the law and drive. He then ignored the law again when he drove drunk. He is still not in jail. He is on probation. Guess what - he violated that too. He tested positive for opiates and cocaine. Paul's lawyers requested that he be put in jail immediately with a $50,000 bail before he hurts or kills someone else because this is obviously an animal who is not going to change his ways. The judge denied that and just upped the number of random drug tests they would perform. Harland smirked at the outcome. He beat the system again. How many times are they going to let him get away with this?
