This is a response email i received from K-Love in response to me asking them to play "Could You" a song by Christian Rapper:The Rep.

Thanks for dropping a line. Great to have you as part of K-LOVE!

Our format at this time is Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) - we've found that playing other genres decreases our listenership over time, and therefore makes it hard to fund the station. When listeners tune in, they want to know what they are getting. It is like a brand in a way. This is why we don't play Gospel, Rap, or the many other genres out there.

I know of a few Christian rap and R&B stations if you haven't checked these out yet:
