Release Disney's Halloween Treat and other old Disney Channel Favorites onto DVD

For example: "Disney's Halloween Treat" was a Halloween staple until the past few years. It was a delightfully scary and nostalgic collection of Disney cartoons and movie clips which the family loved to see every year. There were two versions made- one was released to VHS (a rare and sometimes expensive find these days) and the other was only shown on TV. Both versions are good, but let me list the differences between the two:
Original version, released in 1982:
Hosted by a talking pumpkin.
Follows a more kiddie-friendly format, focusing more on Mickey, Donald and Pluto than Halloween itself in its spooky glory. Best suited for kids under age 6.
Different opening sequence from the TV-only version- too brief.
Released on VHS in 1982, only shown on TV for one year.
TV-only version, released in 1983:
Hosted by the Magic Mirror, voiced by Hans Conried, who introduces the classic Disney villains in a witty and sarcastic bit.
Has many of the clips and cartoons as the original, but focuses more on Halloween superstitions and traditional characters and creatures, making this version more suitable for kids of all ages, even adults.
Includes the old Disney cartoon "The Old Mill" and "Trick or Treat" with Donald Duck, which wasn't in with the original.
Never released on VHS- last shown on TV in the late 1990s or early 2000s.
Many viewers over more recent years have become dissatisfied with the TV programs being shown on the Disney Channel today- they feel that your shows, while alright for the current generation, don't even compare to the shows that originally made the channel as popular as it is. Those very shows have grown scarce if not disappeared completely. Your Halloween specials in particular, have become more tired and formulaic. Only "Hocus Pocus" is worthy of viewing anymore, as it is the best among anything else the channel has put forth in recent years. "Disney's Halloween Treat" is still great family entertainment even though it is over 20 years old. If anything it should be deemed a classic and brought back to the audience and scare/delight a new generation.
Here is my proposition: Disney needs to re-release their old TV shows and specials onto DVD to entice back the viewers they have lost. There are many priceless shows which have been forgotten, and this would bring back the classic entertainment enjoyed by the last generation for the new generation to watch and enjoy. The programs I would pick for selection are:
Disney's Halloween Treat (both versions and not just one...perhaps on the same DVD)
A Walt Disney Christmas
A Disney Christmas Gift
Jiminy Cricket's Christmas
Donald Duck Presents
Dumbo's Circus
Welcome to Pooh Corner
The Wuzzles
Gummi Bears
The Mickey Mouse Club (1980s to 1990s)
Ducktales
Darkwing Duck
In my opinion Disney can't lose- they'd be bringing back that old Disney Channel magic which would make GREAT Christmas and birthday presents, and you'd have people happy to pay the price to see and enjoy the shows they watched as a kid again.
So what do you say? Lets turn back time.
