The original CD release to Backdraft is very short and leaves out some of the best action music composer Hans Zimmer has written in his entire career. Although the music is still exquisite, the release is very bad. There is a complete bootleg available, but it features sound effects. The score is one of the best and most effective scores in the composer's career and it begs for a proper release. Hans Zimmer's fans (and the composer himself) deserve that.
