West Coast Hip Hop pioneer Daz Dillinger is due to release an album with the So So Def record label in Atlanta. For reasons unknown to Daz and his legion of loyal fans, the record hasnt been released yet and as of yet there is no official release date. It looks like the album is being shelved and for no clear reason.
Fans of west-coast hip hop, and hip hop in general are eager to hear this record and we ask that it is released soon and not shelved. Daz is, without exaggeration, one of the most important figures in this genre, having been heavily involved in such historically important records as 2pac's - "all eyez on me", Tha Dogg Pound's - "Dogg Food", and countless other projects.
So we ask So So Def, why havent we gotr this album yet? And when will you release it.
The point of this petition is to tell So So Def that we want this album, and a legion of loyal fans will be dissatisfied if we dont get it.
