For the petition for removal of Father William Cassis (from now on known as Fr Cassis) from the Holy Trinity Saint Nicholas Church in Cincinnati, Ohio on 7000 Winton Road. Fr. Cassis has demonstrated selfishness in light of depressed economy without complete disregard to the church. 1) Fr Cassis requested a 10\% raise during a time during diminishing parish contributions to the church. The Holy Trinity church priest makes $100,000 dollars and requested a $10,000 dollar raise recently. 2) Fr Cassis has a lovely wife who is a school teacher. She has full health care benefits. Fr Cassis refused to have his health insurance on her plan, which would be no burden financially or have reduced benefits to self. This would save the church several thousand dollars. In reduced contributions to the church, Fr. Cassis has refused to save the Holy Trinity Saint Nicholas Church valuable operating dollars, and instead seeks entitlement. 3) Fr Cassis has been late to several memorial services in the past. To save the honor of those families, names will not be listed. 4) Fr Cassis maintains he must drive expensive cars on the expense of the church. The church provides a $500 dollar car allowance. This is unacceptable during a recession and further demonstrates his lack of concern to the church and parishioners to which he serves. Fr Cassis drives a new Infinity FX35. Fr Cassis lack of concern toward the church is un-priestly and we here request that current Bishop of Detroit remove Fr Cassis from the Holy Trinity-Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church on 7000 Winton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45224.
