Alexander Hamilton was one of the most influential statesman of fledgling America. A man of astonishing brilliance, his accomplishments during his relatively short life are awe inspiring. Alexander Hamilton made his home in New York, initially downtown on Wall Street and later in the home he built, "The Grange," uptown. We can see and feel his influence in our daily lives, yet his life seems to have faded in distant memory. Shame on New York for forgetting about one of the most important people in the history of this city. Let's pay our respects and honor him by renaming a street in his Wall Street neighborhood Alexander Hamilton Street.
