Restoration of Final Fantasy Character name "Muffzilla"

I was setting my char on auto run while i waited for the airship. I heard the music of the airship and come back in the room to see myself zone in jail. I hadn't broken any rules, sworn at anyone. GM Myndon told me that I would have to change my characters name. I couldn't believe what i was hearing! After playing nearly a year I had finally just reached level 69. During that time, I had never heard anyone complain about the name Muffzilla.

By my estimate there are about 4000 people on this server, not all at once though. I must have encountered about 1/2 that many while leveling over the last year. I am truly upset about this, and even more shocked that all it takes is 1 idiot in 4000. If I wanted those odds, I would play the lottery.

During my conversation with the Asshat Myndon I asked why GM raids aren't done in Port Windy where many fishing bots sit for days on end fishing. I got the typical "We will investigate that". I asked about known gilsellers only to receive the same response.

I pointed out several other characters names I personally find offensive. I mentioned these names to the GM a number of times. When I logged on at night, who walks by me?The same characters withoffensive names. Nothing was done about that. My petition fell on deaf ears while some idiot took actions that lead to a forced name change on my character.

I have been leveling my woodworking in hope of making signed elemental staves as I have a friend who grows Dark Ore regularly. My woodworking skill reached 65 last night. It won't be the same anymore. It just feels empty.

I am peitioning Square-Enix, herein referred to as SE to do one of the following:

1: Allow me one more chance to rename my character. I acted hastily when I was forced to rename my character and was extremely upset. It has taken me a long time to advance to level 69 in the game. When I have reached that far, I would at least like to have a name that I can accept.

2: My preferred option is to have SE issue an apology and remove the GM Myndon from his obligations in the game. After 1 year a character should not have to go through this. It is not right. Therefore my second possible resolution would include an apology from SE and the immediate restoration of my character's former name.

I would like to ask that any individual who signs their name to this petition also choose which one of my desired resolutions they feel would be appropriate. Thanks to everyone for all the support!
