Restore Sanity to Football in Kenya

In those years, Kenyan fans have suffered several humiliations and disappointments. As a result, the sport of Football and especially the local variety is becoming less and less popular and fans are turning away from the sport.
At present, there are two factions fighting for the right to run football in Kenya. Neither faction is suitable. Mohammed Hatimy and Titus Kasuve are the most incompetent group ever to run the sport. They have done absolutely nothing since they took helm. Under them, youth football is dead, womens football is non-existent, the national team is a disaster and the goal project is moribund. Their arrogant demeanor is a key factor in driving sponsors ands fans away. Worse still, they were never elected.
Mr. Nyamweya is no better as he did nothing useful when he ran the sport. Also he presided over the demise of Shabana FC, one of the most prestigious and popular teams in Kenya. In fact none of the officials from the last 10 years are suitable.
To end this quagmire, a new set of officials are needed. It should be led preferably by someone with a track record of development and of attracting sponsors such as Nicholas Musonye of CECAFA. Perhaps assisted by the Kenya Premier league or by cerebral former players like Dan Shikanda and William Obwaka.
This group should run the sport on an interim basis. In the meantime, a new constitution for Kenya Football should be created to end the current abuses such as vote buying. After the new constitution is put in place, fresh elections should be held.
We the undersigned ask FIFA and the government of Kenya to restore sanity in Kenya football before the stadium terraces become completely empty.
