Richland School District Two Dress Code Policy

Of course students are not happy about this new dress code. With shirts tucked in it is less comfortable and hotter. Also, we just plain out don't look as cool.
When students asked about the change, the answer we got was that people could hide weapons underneath their shirt tails.
However, what is stopping a student from putting a weapon in their bookbag or their coat's inside pocket? Bottom line is if a student wants to bring a weapon to school to force any bodily harm among another student, they are going to find a way to do it.
We believe that this guideline that involves us tucking our shirts in is highly unnecessary and should be revoked.
