After the consulation concerning Southlands Hospital, the trust have decided to remove all 120 beds in the Harness block (THAT MEANS NO BEDS AT ALL).
The Orthopaedic Wards have already closed.
The remaining beds are used for stroke rehabilitation and recouperation of the elderly, transfered from Worthing Hospital, their proposal is to put these people in to Private Care and Nursing Homes, just think of the mental impact on that person! Do you fancy this happening to memebers of your family?
These beds are vital to the people from Arun to Adur and We ask you to help Us fight to keep these beds running, hopefully as a community hospital, for all.
SAVE ALL SOUTHLANDS, is our plea
