BBC Hindi Radio will fall silent soon. It is cutting down its Hindi services, which is a huge loss to the BBC Hindi Radio lovers across the world. बीबीसी हिंदी रेडियो अब नहीं गूंजेगा. बीबीसी की तरफ से आधिकारिक घोषणा भी हो गयी. बीबीसी वर्ल्ड सर्विस के प्रमुख पीटर हॉरॉक्स ने कहा है कि सरकारी फंडिंग में अहम कटौती की वजह से ये परिवर्तन किए जा रहे हैं. इसी वजह से बीबीसी हिंदी रेडियो सर्विस को भी बंद किया जा रहा है. लेकिन यह घोषणा करते हुए बीबीसी हिंदी रेडियो सर्विस के लाखों – करोड़ों श्रोताओं की भावनाओं की पूर्णतया अनदेखी कर दी गयी. मीडिया खबर.कॉम ने बीबीसी हिंदी रेडियो सेवा को बंद करने के खिलाफ एक अभियान छेड़ा है और बीबीसी से आग्रह किया है कि वे बीबीसी हिंदी रेडियो को न बंद करें. इस संबंध में आप भी इस ऑनलाइन पेटिशन पर अपने दस्तख कर बीबीसी हिंदी रेडियो को बचाने की मुहिम में साथ दें.
