Have you ever been stabbed in the back by a friend? Have you ever been treated poorly by someone you loved? I'm sure that you have all answered yes to one of those questions. I would like to share with you a personal story of betrayal and deceit.

My boyfriend, one of the most important people in my life, was in a band with three of his supposed "best friends". While in the band, his duties were as follows: he was a screamer, not just a screamer, but the best screamer. He wrote most of their lyrics due to the incompetence and lack of creativity of the other members and he came up with the most important thing that the band has their name. Gene Autry Violence.

About a week ago, it came as a surprise to me that a few of the members in the band were slandering my relationship with my boyfriend. I confronted one of them and it exploded into a massive argument. While destroying my reputation, he also disparaged one of my close friend's names. While attempting to regain some credibility, he took out his frustrations of the on-going struggle with me, on my boyfriend. They are currently employed in the same work-place and he constantly harassed and put down my boyfriends work effort, on the job, and in the band.

Finally, the band-nazi, noted above, got together with another band member and decided to kick him out, because he "was not dedicated enough". If you know first hand what is going on, then you also know how ridiculous and absurd their reasons are. The main reason they kicked him out was so they wouldn't have to put up with me.

My boyfriend loved the band and the music just as much, if not more than any of the members. The only difference is that he cared more about his friendships than he did the band. He was not willing to destroy relationships for a band, like his band-mates were. He was a target of retaliation against me and it is with this petition that I attempt to get him back into the band that he so dearly loved.

If you think, like I think, that my boyfriend was a victim of a cruel and cowardly act, then I urge you to sign this petition and right a wrong. If you know Gene Autry Violence, I ask you this question: Will the band be the same without their lead screamer and singer? Will the band succeed without lyrics?
