We the undersigned wish to protest against the proposed closure of Grendon Hall, Northamptonshire. In the County Council's proposed changes, Grendon Hall has been listed for closure. This multipurpose building provides a safe environment for thousands of children across the county in events ranging from Music Courses to Archery. It is imperative that the plans to close Grendon Hall are aborted. It is therefore our demand that the council
- Withdraws plans to close Grendon Hall
- Categorically state that the site will not be sold
- Categorically state that the site will not be subject to any changes of purpose whatsoever.
The hall has been a valuable location enriching tens of thousands of young people's lives both directly and indirectly and the Council owe it to the future generations of this area to protect such sites from being lost forever.
