Save MSN Chatrooms

We the undersigned users of MSN chat wish to express our displeasure at the decision to close MSN chat. To aim to make the net safe for children is admirable, however there must be other alternatives that pinpoint the problem more precisely. The total closure of chat punishes the vast majority of users all for the sake of a few problem people. Since the statement was released I have spoken to a lot of people, all of whom have different and personal reasons for wanting to keep MSN chat open. MSN chat has become a community, somewhere where people can find help and support whenever they need it, and the service has helped many people.

Taking away MSN chat will be removing something very very good. We all hope that our views will be heard and considered.
