Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club. Those four words used to spark feelings of fear and excitement into fans across the country. This once great club, with her wonderful history, her passionate support, her potential to be counted amongst the countries elite again, is in decline. The appointment of Glenn Hoddle was one that split the opinions of the Molineux faithful. Some thought it a shrewd move, one which would result in free flowing football, goals, passion, pride and promotion. Others were against it from the outset, citing a poor record in the transfer market, poor man-management, and a history of struggling with players of limited ability as reasons the appointment was destined to fail. Unfortunately for the 22000+ at Molineux last night, the latter were more accurate in their predictions. In a frankly forgettable tenure, Hoddle has shown he is incapable of change. In his eternal wisdom, he has decided a Chelsea-esque 4-5-1 formation is the way out of the Coca-Cola Championship. He fails to realise that while Chelsea have the craft and guile of Arjen Robben, Joe Cole and Damien Duff operating on the flanks, we have Carl Cort(a good target man - but not an inside forward), and Kenny Miller(a good finisher who finds himself in his own half far to often). Hoddl signed Tomasz Frankowski for 1.4m, pronouncing he was the missing piece in the jigsaw, only to later state he doesn't fit in to the current system. Does he change the system to accommodate this missing link, as Elche did? No. Frankowski has been named Polish player of the year, yet is not worth changing a failing system for. The reason, of course, that the system is unchanging, is the stubbornness and arrogance that Hoddle has. He will not change his special formation, which works so well for Chelsea, because that will be tantamount to publicly admitting that he got it wrong. Well, Glenn, you have got it wrong. The only thing keeping you in your job is supporter apathy. That is going to change. Saturday the 11th of March sees the return of Dave Jones. A man who was sacked for proving himself to be tactically inept, and for losing the confidence of fans and players alike. Listen to the reception he gets, Glenn, and ask yourself why he is so popular. Ask some of the fans behind you what the football was like in the choke season, and the season we went up. Compare it to the football we have seen under you. This season is another lost cause. For the good of the club, Hoddle needs to be gone before the start of the next pre-season. Jez, please listen to the fans, and do as they ask. I fear the attendances will hit rock bottom if this man remains in charge of first team affairs for much longer. You have surely seen the atmosphere at Molineux of late, and you know the reason why. You can change it. Please do. Part company with Hoddle, and get the fans back, before you lose them for good. This great club deserves better.

149. Tristan C | I thought Hoddle would instill a high quality form of football but instead it is bland, boring and - most importantly - ineffective. We don't have the players to play Chelsea's formation!

145. N V | I understand Glenn Hoddle may be a talented coach at a higher level but, at this level, he has got it wrong. You can't perform at a high level all the time so you need players to play a simple system. Give me Cotterrill/Parkinson/Mowbray & Venus and b
