It has come to the attention of the petitioners that Paddington Bear is under investigation by the UK Immigration Service. We, the undersigned, demand that the British Prime Minister - Gordon Brown - intervene to ensure that everyone's favourite marmalade (and Marmite) munching bear be allowed to stay in the UK and, furhtermore, be granted British citizenship with immediate effect.
