The Magnificent Seven, those once beautiful structures that grace the western end of the Queens Park Savannah, can almost be heard crying out for help from the throngs that walk, run, driverace past them everyday.
These wonderfully intricate residences that, in their own way, chart the countrys history are falling to ruin before our eyes. Perhaps the most heartbreaking of these are the mansions known as Stollmeyers Castle and Mille Fleurs; both owned by the government. S.T.M.S. believes that it is time for the people of this country to let the authorities know that we are not prepared to let these buildings die.
Minister Jack Warner, S.T.M.S understands that heritage sites now fall under your purview. This petition and its many signatories serves as proof that the repair and maintenance of these two buildings is an issue that many, many people feel strongly about.
We would really like to have the restoration and maintenance of these building made into a priority of your Ministry.
