Seaman's Lime Rickey

In early 2006, Pepsi discontinued Seaman's Lime Rickey in single serving bottles.
Lime Rickey was a bright green lime flavoured pop produced by Seaman's Beverages in Prince Edward Island, one of the few family-owned bottlers remaining in Canada. Lime Rickey has been a popular beverage both on and off Prince Edward Island for several generations.
We believe that Seaman's Lime Rickey is a tradition in the Canadian Maritimes, no less important than lobster, red mud, Anne of Green Gables or the potato.
In 2002, Seaman's was sold to pop giant Pepsi, who discontinued several of the Seaman's flavours. It is our belief that Pepsi will ultimately discontinue the unique and popular Lime Rickey as well, this being the first step towards its elimination.
We therefore politely ask that Pepsi Canada reconsider its recent descision to stop producing Lime Rickey in small bottles, so that Atlantic retailers may continue supporting and selling a wide variety of Prince Edward Island products.
