Stop the misteatment of Guyanese nationals in Barbados

We all live on this beautiful democratic island and for once in my life I am ashamed of being a Bajan. The atrocities that our government is doing to Guyanese nationals with their so called new immigration policy have rocked me to the core. Usually when something happens here it might be the topic of conversation in the office but it never goes beyond that. But this is so terrible that I have a need to speak out and call on all other Barbadians to do so as well. I am astounded and amazed of what we have so easily accepted. From the raids and round ups in the bus terminals to plain clothes policeman stopping zrs and pulling guyanese off the buses. Pregnant women cannot have their babies at QEH because the nurses are calling immagration and deporting them a day or 2 after their baby is born. And now the lastest crime against humanity is the raiding neighborhoods and paying bajans to give up Guyanese people. So now we are discriminating against a race of people and creating an environment of racial hate. Children not saying a basic hello to Guyanese person at a bus stop because "they don't like guyanese" We are quickly taking away people's basic civil rights. I am really ashamed to live in this country. I ask when will it end and how far will this go. Read your history, we are walking down a dangerous path of hate a prejudice similar to the treatment of the jews in world war 2. At this point I can only liken this government the Reich and Thompson to Hitler because this is an identical replay of what happened during those times. As a hardworking bajan I say stop!! We as a people need to speak out and show that we all do not feel this way. We put the DLP in power, we are responsible for what happens on this island. We need to be able to say that our voices, matter we shall be heard and we will not stand for this.
